Jason Neilson Head Chef started his career at Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons, Raymond Blanc's two Michelin-starred restaurant, where he became the youngest junior sous chef.
Moving to the Alsace region of France, he took on the role of chef de partie at the three Michelin-starred Auberge de L'ill, becoming only the second English chef to work there. Offered jobs with both Marco Pierre White and Gordon Ramsay, he decided instead to become head chef of Newark Park, in order to see the advantages and pitfalls of opening a new restaurant. From there he opened Thorpe Grange Manor in Almondbury, Huddersfield, for more than seven years, gaining an entry in the Good Food Guide. In more recent times he has been offering his services at the Spencers Arms in Cawthorne. Now he takes the role of Head Chef Director at 315 Bar and Restaurant.
